What else is there except class 2 and 5 AC spam? Otherwise the 6 ballistic slots will be wasted.

So the generic dakka build, nothing with RAC's.

That's a might fine brawler build. I wonder if I can try something similar with lbx 10's plus SNPPC's.

ANH-2A

Nobody would expect it, at range, deadly, up close, ludicrous!

You can mix a couple of RAC5s with quad AC2s. RACs provide the shake, and AC2s provide the pin point damage.

As for the LBX10+SNPPC combo, many other Anni variants can do it, thus making it non-unique. Plus SNPPC range is too short, better replace them with regular PPCs.

I swore I died to that type of build before. May build it on my bored days.

I came up with this build seems like a nice suppressor build.

ANH-1A 2x HPPC + 2x LB20X is better, but you can also do it with 2A but less ammo.

The LB-60X ones are particularly fun, I'm told.

Most Annihilator pilots are going the minimum possible speed anyway, complaining the entire time about how their teams not waiting for them while they're still stuck at base 4 minutes into the match. They may as well have fun while dragging their heels.

even at max speed of 48kph they get left behind.

a large part of the problem is the spawn points put the slow assaults in the worst possible starting locations

pgi has thermal maps that show which direction most teams go

they should have the assaults spawn at the point closest to the direction teams most frequently go in

instead of as far away as possible...

for example, if teams mostly often go counterclockwise on a particular map, then assaults should spawn on the right side, NOT the left side.

if the slow assaults spawn closer to where they need to be, they wont be left behind as often.

its not that hard PGI. fix your spawn points.

Ammo is gonna run out real fast though. Might wanna switch the UAC2s into regular AC2s, so you can add Endo instead of Light Ferro and get plenty of spare tonnage.

I did change it from ultra's to stds for now and it's a bit cooler to run when not using rac's, I also noticed I run out of space when running endo instead of Light FF and I can only get a one or two extra heatsinks or overstuff with ammo.

I picked up the Anni 1a the other day since on sale. X2 heavy gauss and x4 erml probably not the best load out that you can do but 1 shotting mediums and lights that stray too close is pretty darn fun.

6 LB5X. Get the cooldown and lbx spread nodes in the tree. That makes a 30point alpha with no heat every 1.46 second with a spread of 0.58! I love it, it's relentless and accurate. At 400meters you often hit only 2 component of an assault and everything hits a light facing you. At 300 you can place all your damage in the ct of an heavy. At 200m you hit 2 component of small medium like CN9 when you go for ct. Most of your damage will go exactly where you want it to be and as soon as someone is open hes dead.

I can't testify to how fun that build may be, but I do think I can say its not nearly as effective as you portray it to be. I've had multiple run ins with LB-5X Anni boats, and every single time I have the same reaction: Thank god he's using LB-5Xs, I'd be dead otherwise.

Its actually pretty sad when a Huntsman gets exposed to an Annihilator for 10+ seconds and makes it out alive without even having a single location armor stripped. I can really only think of one more depressing Anni build at the moment...

Wow...I'm actually trying to Smurfy this and have 20+ tons of unused weight, even with a TC8 shoved in there (which that guy clearly doesn't have based on the 360m range listing).

That might actually be slightly worse than a Hunchback IIC-A that was equipped with 8 Micro Pulse Lasers or a Nova with 3 ER Micros and 3 SPLs (I've seen both).

If he had one more flamer I would consider it a huge threat /s.

But I do enjoy seeing some whacky Anhi builds.

That do seems fun, and I do enjoy running lbx's I'll go out my way to unlock lbx nodes with jam nodes If I want to switch up between dakka and shotty fun.
