The thread is as the title does. No real reason I'm asking this. I saw in the Caustic Valley video that you're able to (I think) see the name of a targeted mech (I see you there, testlab07). To this end, I'd like to hear from you what I'd see when i train my sights on you.

Actually I believe those are their Pilot names

if you watch it says "testlab08 has killed testlab01"

But will probably just keep the varient name on since I will probably be changing all the weapon loadouts on the mechs so I know which varient I am leveling....Maybe like -5V ERLL

Oh. other than the founder Atlas. Which I will name Bullseye Head. Then continue to strip off all of its equipment and never touch it again lol..

Oh man, I got all excited too. I guess it makes more sense to see who you shot, rather than what they call their ride. Could've sworn the devs would have used actual usernames rather than stock "This is a test" names, but that hardly matters.

Well, a hunchback being a 50 tonner can get going faster than a catapult . better torso twist speed and such

But at that point you might as well use a trebuchet and get a varient that has jump jets Like the 5J
