I love the layout of this map, but it would be nice to have different temperature versions of it. A "cold" version (15°c or less) would be nice to see.

Would be different enough to be interesting.

Somewhat interesting, but I really don't mind seeing it as a hotter map. Really, there could be more maps for heat checking.

There are... They aren't played very often due to the playerbase in general (not me) being really terrible at heat management.

Why not make a temperate map with some wet areas.

The temperature has no bearing in how "cold" works. The game doesn't have a concept of temperature.

It does however have a concept of defined areas (which most maps define the entire map) as giving set buffs or debuffs.

For example. Alpine,Polar Highlands, Frozen City, and old Forest Colony Snow all gave +25% threshold and +25% cooling.
They all have various "temperature fluff", but they all give the same bonus.

And the external heat transfer immunity just ignores the change by its percentage (50% or 100% depending on the mech with the quirk).

I don't care how the sausage is made as long as it is good.

LOL stepped right into that. We have "hot" maps and "cold" maps why not a temperate one with some flooded lower levels to cool off in.

You've not played Viridian Bog, Forest Colony, River City, Emerald Taiga, or Crimson Strait?

I was mainly speaking of the environment displayed, not really commenting on the thermal properties. I want to see this map layout set in the Viridian Bog or Forest Colony areas. I'd also like to see a version of this from one of those areas with a very slight dusting of snow. Not enough to completely cover anything, just like a hint of snow. (all we have now for "snow" is "freeze your *** off", nothing less)
