Smoke Jaguar And Star Adder Color Scheme Examples?

Okay so even though I have played a few mechwarrior games in teh past(never the table top game though) I dont really know much about plot and lore etc.

I just know that my favorite mech the Ebon Jaguar was developed by Smoke Jaguar, however I dont entirely like the pattern that is available so I was wondering if anyone has any other examples of other ways they are making their mechs fit Smoke Jaguar without the pattern itself. That or perhaps Star Adder as they seem to be the ones who made it according to the wikia.

Also how likely is it that other clans pilot each others mechs like Kit Fox or Line Backer in Smoke Jaguar or Star Adder.
