Almost completed the event, own most all the mechs to choose from except the Summoner.

Which one to pick?

May as well pick the M, as its the most expensive one, and the CT and Set of 8 quirks don't matter.

I was going to choose F as it had the most potential for customizing but then I read on battle tech wiki that the M is Nikolai Malthus ,s preferred mech . Having a soft spot for the cartoon , I chose that instead. M is a nice brawler mech .

It's an omnimech, man. You'll probably be swapping omnipods for it if you are going to actually try to make it effective and the Summoner does not have any CTs that are any different from the other so far as I know. What I'm trying to say is, it does not matter unless you're one of those people that insists on running lore builds.

I'll go ahead and show you what build I have the most luck with: SMN-M

I know it's a bit unorthodox as to what most people do with a Summoner but it's actually pretty good at ERML vomit and the ATM12 can be pretty deadly too while also allowing the 'mech to maintain what I view to be the iconic shoulder missile pod.

Grab any variant and load up the M and F side torso pods. Equip 2 ERPPC, TC1, and about 20 DHS. Proceed to rek the red team.
