Just wanted to see what the opinion is on which of the stocking stuffer 3 mechs is the best bang for your (non-existent) buck?

i just selected the summoner m i think, or whichever one was the most expensive. then i sold it.

Wow... such hate towards the "Summoner SMN-M"...

I have started to find some builds that could work on that one. Now I'm beginning to think I should get one just to be the oddball in MWO's Community.

Not hate, a lot of people already have the (L) versions of these 'mechs, so getting the one worth the most C-Bills at re-sale makes sense.

As for which 'mech to choose, well...

HBR-F if you don't already have a Hellbringer
STK-3FB if you're a fan of IS lasers & ECM
SMN-M or SMN-F if you don't already have a Summoner

I got the Stalker because I am a fan of laser vomit + ECM.

The Summoner -M or Hellbringer are effective mechs. The Summoner -M sells for a bunch.

Don't get the Blackjack, though. Even if you want one, you should be able to sell the Summoner -M, buy a Blackjack with the proceeds, and then have a few C-Bills left to MechLab it.

Cool thanks guys, I got the Stalker as I did not have many IS mechs and the ECM laserboat tickled my fancy.

i took the STK-3fb. Mine has 2 ERLL, 4 ER Meds, 2 LRM 15's, 18 DHS, ECM and LFE 300. LRMS purely because i dont have much LRM mechs. Well, its alot of fun, bit hot, but fun
