173rd Air Gaming's [4ARM] 4th Armored "Hammerheads" division renders their support. Hoping we're able to get more units involved and make the stream even bigger than expected [again]!

It was a helluva good time last night... 40-50 people in TS...couple hundred watching the streams. Hats off to Impaler, Starwolfe, Nuttyrat and RJBass3 for the combined streaming/casting experience they put together to broadcast this event. Banestorm for all those great clip highlights.. The casting commentary from RJ, Nutty and starwolfe's streams was great. Impaler brought it all together on one stream.. It was highly entertaining.

Congratulations to DarklightCA for pulling out the win in the finals.. Many were rooting for Bear-Claw in that machine gunning light he got all the way to the end in, climbing over several assaults in the process, but the final fights were great to watch either way. This and the cameo by Seth's kids were the highlights of the evening..

Also, Special shout out to Bombadil from NGNG, who was making it rain gift codes for 1000's of MC across the 4 streams much of the night.

The community raised over 3600.00 so far last night of an extended goal of 8,000.00.. with several more weekends to go of 4v4 and 8v8 tournaments yet (and rumor has it another solaris tourney next weekend).. Great to see the community stepping up to help out a fellow pilot (and his kids) in need. Keep it up guys..

This may venture into broken record territory, but I don't care. I am compelled to add my voice to the crowd.

The MechWarrior community showed its true colors last night, turning a terrible RL situation for one of its own into a reason to host one of the most entertaining events to ever grace MWO. The donations rolled in to assist a family in need, destroyed battlemech parts were flying off, laughs were had, intense exciting moments were constant, and everyone seemed in high spirits as many watched 3+ streams of Solaris style combat long into the night. Bombadil flooded 1000MC codes into chat windows, the streamers did an amazing job covering the action, there were even some special call out matches to mix things up. I am proud to be a part of this community! There was no common enemy, there was no beef, no trolling, just a big pile of money grubbing mercs shoulder to shoulder with vat grown clanners and freebirth scum, all cheering for their favorites at the Steiner Colosseum. I feel bad for anyone who missed out on the opportunity to participate in the good times generated by such good people. Thanks to the all the organizers of these tourneys! You are all crushing it! Expect my attendance for all upcoming related events. Lets make this happen in grand fashion for the Simpson family!! O7

Thank you to everyone who participated last night. It was amazing to see the community come together for Seth and his family!
I'm sure Mycroft and Seth will be by with their own words but I can't express how thankful we all are for you <3

Ok I ask that all of you forgive any spelling errors and or syntax issues. I am still moved beyond words at the showing for last night. It is all I can do now to simply type without tearing up over the kindness and unity the community I love so very much has shown. This event and all you have put together with my brothers in 6 of 6 should be the standard of a united community. You all reached out and openly helped a man who to some was just a name on a screen and to others completely unknown. My heart aches not with sadness and loss but with warmth and the feeling that I am a part of all of your families. Freebirth and Clanners alike have united and we are all greater for it. I cannot wait to see where the rest of the events are gonna go. Stay golden pony boy. My kiddos, Raven (12) and Nyxxie (6) again say you are awesome and that they love you all so much.

I've updated the main post here, but we can't express our thanks enough to everyone involved in making the first weekend as much of a success as it was.

Is there a secondary link for the 4v4 brackets for pilots looking to be paired, like there was for the 2v2. I'll I've seen is this link which I assume is the team link ---> http://challonge.com/j1rr8nsp

If your a solo pilot looking for a team do we sign up on the above link ^, or is there another bracket for the pilots looking to be paired for the 4v4?

Thanks

I second that question. We are trying to put together a 4man team but uncertain where to sign up \ posted rules \ start times ect.. Any links for participants for the 4v4 \ 8v8?

Love these events! Thanks!
