Why Is It That Some Players Won't Tag A Beacon Is Couting

Inner Sphere Players, wanna know why you cant get Radar Jammer in FW. Talk to the guys in Scouting who don't grab the beacons "because they don't do anything" they say, and rush to get blasted apart by the Clans.

because they couldn't QQ about clams OP when the bar wouldn't be 90%+ clam due to playing the game mode correctly.

You get nothing for playing game modes in MWO....
Deliver all 10 beacons = 10000Cbills
Kill two enemys and do around 450dmg = 150000C-bills
It is MWO MERCS after all

Playing the game mode as intended does not rewards C-Bills, damage and kills do. Thank PGI for bad design

And so, nobody wants to grab the beacons so that everyone will still remain hopeless in FW.

when I play scouting my team usualy has 10+ points before first contact with the enemy (although admitidly I do not think I have ever played scouting solo), it makes little sense to me why anyone would not grab points in the early game before first contact.

i get far more wins in the mode killing the team than i do with a cap win.

its not about winning, in intel gather it's abut how many beacons you grab and leave with. Not worth much if you only go with 6 intels out of the game.

true but in most wins its not unusual to get several more beacons after the team has been defeated. especially if you know where to look. after all if you dont win you dont get any beacons at all. a few is better than none. splitting up to collect more beacons is always going to be a bad idea.
if however a few is not enough there are ways to get more beyond the usually wipe and farm. for example you can kill the first 2 mechs and cripple the remaining mechs (especially through legging), you can simply run off and cap at that point. disarming shots can help keep those mechs from causing you too much greif down the road, like making it hard for them to suicide by overheating (to terminate the timer and call the dropship), forcing them to go for the edge of the map at 40kph.
