Normalize Cockpit Hitboxes

Not asking for a perfect mech, I'm simply asking for all hitboxes to be roughly the same size and all of them small.

Shave some of that HBR hitbox down to the size of a small square in that space.




They didn't make the cockpit hitbox stretch across the NTG, why did they make it stretch across on the HBR?

You really shouldn't be able to fit a cockpit hitbox inside another cockpit hitbox twice.






I'm not asking for buffs to OP mechs, I'm just asking for everything to have a relatively equal chance of being head-shot.


When you face off against a dual heavy gauss MAL or ANH on the enemy team, there chance of one-shotting you should be very limited.


The thing about the hitbox on the ANH is it is already easy to isolate because it is in a very easy to see spot and the HBR has it even worse.


I'm not asking for the ANH to be redesigned so you don't know exactly where the head is every time, just having the box a uniform and relatively small size across all mechs.

That doesnt seem right for the HBR, i just tried to headshot a shutdown one few nights ago and it was no where near that big. You have to just hit the little blue box on its face that whole pain didnt seem to regiester. Then again he was shut down and that makes things a bit silly sometimes.

What frustrates me is that when PGI mentions in a patch that a certain mech got hitbox changes/ adjustments, for the lov of all that is good, show it! Like the thread where we players have to figure it out by finely documented shots to point out where the hitboxes begins and end. I would love to see comparison pictures from PGI also in the patches, containing hitbox changes.

Real life shooting skills have no relevance to skill in a FPS game.

And sorry to be frank, I mean no offence, but you are a below average player at MWO, so lack of skill actually might be an issue.

The community shouldn't be relied upon to map these hitboxes out, especially when we confirm suspicions that a CT hitbox is way to big.



PGI is not good with transparency.
