I was in the Viridian Bog today and to me it seemed like all of my missiles were exploding 2 feet from my mech. The only difference I saw was that the map had fog. I checked my damage at the end of the match and I only had 25 and I'm pretty sure that was just from my lasers after the opposing team got closer to me. No mechs were close to me when I fired off the first 500 missiles so it wasn't AMS and no friendlies were standing in front of me.

Maybe you were hitting a piece of cover or a tree that wasn't visible because of fog?

I was on the rock steps, no foilage around, later when I went down low to try and avoid all the fire that was coming my way I may have been hitting lillypads, but still, I'm pretty sure there was no damage from the previous volleys as I could see them blowing up right in front of me.
