First of all, searching for anything on this entire site produces 0 results, no matter what term I search for. "portal," "nova cat," etc.. nothing works.

So I tried searching for my MWO portal issue that way, and came up with that problem... my main problem however is the MWO portal. I heard the patcher was going away, so i got the portal.. problem is the portal wants to put MWO in a different directory than the patcher did, ie, redownload the entire game... I can't find a way to tell the portal, "hey look, MWO is already installed <here>". is there a way to do that?
