Hey everyone... There's just one problem which is sabotaging things for those who purchased a Piranha Mech Pack. That small problem is the lack of a juicy Event/Challenge to get everyone else in the queues at the same time, so the Piranha Pilots have plenty of targets to go smacking upon. Meh... I'm sure it was just a slight oversight... Right?

But I digress, the title of the event stands for what it is : the Piranha Mech challenge.
I guess another even will soon be announced in parallel for all the non-piranha'ed players

Maybe CW event soon? Battle for New Avalon, Arteus, Sian ? After balance patch, scouting tonnage changes, new metrics could be of use.. And other loyalists should get free decals too.
Only thing - maybe try cumulative count of all games for victory conditions? For example if IS wins less then 30% of all games, it is defeat. Win 60% or more - victory. Between - draw. Scouting games results could count to victory conditions with halved value, or not at all.
(Numbers are just for example.)

It's been a while since they did that. So I wouldn't count on it going forward. 1 or 2 releases after the new event system was in, they stopped doing leaderboard events and put those "challenges" in instead.
(Hellspawn and Thanatos didn't have it, can't remember the mech(s) before that.)

No not SOP, there were in fact so many event rewards for freeloaders (like me most of the time) I was starting to feel a bit guilty.

Probably Wed or Thursday they'll announce a 'Didn't buy the Piranha so here's an event' event.

Didnt buy a mechpack for a while. so I didnt realise that, thanks would still like to have one :/
