Something I have never really thought about before the piranha because MGs always used to be a secondary weapon in my builds.

MG ammo/ton 2000
LMG ammo/ton 2500
HMG ammo/ton 1000

How much MG, LMG, and HMG ammo does it take to do 1 point of damage?

How much damage can you do per ton?

It'd be awesome if someone can answer the two questions. I just want to calculate what my potential max damage output is going to be in the mech.

Thanks

Tele

PS: Sorry, I meant to post this in general but posted in FP. Mods can move if you want.

That's damage per ton? can you please explain how you got to those numbers?

Or at least point me to where on Smurfy it shows it...all I can find is the DPS in the weapons chart.

It's called basic math.
Go to smurfy, find MG hover your mouse over it and you can see
Damage = 0,1
Ammo/t = 2000
and now the math part.

Yes those values are without crits and ammo nodes in skilltree.
BTW. anyone know are those ammonode values posted somewhere? How much of what ammo more you get for a node.

Hint in lower/right corner at in-game skill tree screen shows bonuses for all the type of nodes. Including ammo ones.

For reference here is the dmg/ton against armor with skills:
MG 240
LMG 210
HMG 168

So the MG is the dmg/ton winner.

Ok I wasn't specific enough.. (posted word should have hinted what I meant.")

"BTW. anyone know are those ammonode values posted somewhere?" WHEN I DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE GAME!

LOL I feel like a derp. That makes sense. I didn't see that the damage on the LMG, MG, and HMG were 0.07, 0.1, and 0.14. Thanks a lot for clearing that up.
