[Racerxintegra2k]

What is going on ?? As an average pilot i keep getting matched with teams that require me to kill 5-6 on my own and still sometimes its a loss. I'm talking 4-6 people doing under 100 damage in whats supposed to be Tier 1 matches ????

right now i have an average match score of 254 and 1.70 K/D with a .80 W/L .... i cant carry

What if I told you the PSR bar was an experience bar?
What if I told you that you should be in T3, in a proper ELO/PSR system?
What if I told you that the "MM" looks at Tier and that is it? Not player ability, historical performance etc?
What if I told you that you just need to carry harder?

It's just a bad streak. Having one myself - A perpetual stream of matches where no one pays attention, no one can shoot straight, and everyone thinks mini-maps are things that happen to other people. Made all the more infuriating by the 'It's just a game, why try' crowd.

As far as I've heard the vast majority of players are in tier 5 to tier 3 and there are a lot less players at the top. If true then the match maker is pulling in a dozen tier 3s and only a few tier 1s and 2s.

The longer it takes for you to find a match the more likely it is that you have tier 4 and tier 5 players on your team.


If it excluded people, your wait time would be outrageous as the tier 1 population is rather small.

Looks like it is time for you to create an alt account and use the Cadet bonuses to buy one of the best mechs available. You get 45K in GXP after the 25th game to level it.

That is what a lot of the ones who are saying everything is fine are doing, because they certainly are not playing their main accounts.

The match maker is busted can't even get a oceanic match being an oceanic player..

Did that in a handful of matches i was Tier 3 .. then Tier 2 .. back to Tier 1 on the alt.

You would be incorrect, The last time PGI brought it up the Lower and Higher tiers were most populated and the middle tiers where the least populated. Recently someone did some digging around somewhat unscientifically and the estimated that 55% of the player base is in tier 1. Not sure if that is correct, but it would explain why matches in the solo queue have gotten worse this past 6 months or so.

what u are refering too, with the problems u are having with the servers choosing the matches is the way this game does match.
confuseing ... this game is pro pawg didn't u know that when u agreed to the games Ula?



pawg "Pre Arranged Win Game" the server IS putting u in a bad match so u cant win as many matches as u should against same level players. the teir pilot systm for MWO is based on wins NOT your actual in game performance this games trolling of "u have to buy a hero mech to have skill/ u have to buy a hero mech to learn team pla" is absoulute rubbish and we all know it. ask an experienced old school player about "seal pup bashing". they could show u the picture of a mech smashing puppy seals. the customers are the seals and the company owners are the mech. and yes the picture is up in one of the forums under "faction play general discussion posts".

u might want to read the comments under the forum heading "why new players continue to quit.." and my new general page topic are pawgs okay??

Sorry, but your stats show, that you don't belong to Tier 1.

AHEM MrMadguy he didn't type in any where that he is in any teir .. and I'm pretty sure he knows his own pilot teir.
what racerX is typing is (if I can paraphrase for racerX and please correct me if i am wrong) THAT HE IS BEING MATCHED BY THE SERVERS AGAINST HIGHER END PLAYERS, CONSTANTLY WITH NO CHANCE TO WIN. and he just figured out hes been in premade pawg matches not just in FP but all game modes. hopefully that clarifies things.

Look at the number under my profile where your 2 is mine is a 1. As i said i'm an average player, in all reality i shouldn't be tier 1 but neither should half the people that are.

The matchmaker is working as designed. When you don't have enough players in the queue you then expand the tier ranges of players to make a match. Now PSR, that isn't working well at all.

The easy solution is to make 10 tiers.
You still have alot to improve once you hit tier 1, and even more so for the stupid pilots.
