2xuac10 bushie. XL engine. Dangerous and fun.
Dual.ac20 thanatos. Holy crap is this thing fun. It's wide and can die fast but I never got on the boomhammer/boomjaeger bandwagon. Dual ac20s is great

A brawling mech. Literally forces you to learn to torso twist.
Clan orion. ATM9 x 3, c-UAC20. insane alpha strike of 120.

The Assassin is a ton of fun, especially, but I am not a very good medium pilot.

There is no fun to be had (ok, the mist lynx has its moments I admit).
Thankfully I am also leveling the Bandit and it can be a lot of fun (if that thing had JJs I’d probably end up being a favorite).

I've finished mastering this mech and settled on 1 ERLL and 4 LRM-10's (with AMS). It seems that the layout for LRM's really works for fire-support pilots that sit "just behind" or "next to" the FLOT Assaults in contact with the Decepticons. You can actually not hit you team mates, share armor and simply fire a nearly continuous stream of LRM's supporting those assaults by softening up the "next" target for the firing line..... And, even killing the severely damaged as they retreat.... Really seemed to work....

WHM-6R: Two builds I like, 2 Gauss 4 ERML for the midrange skirmish. Great heat efficiency and a very versatile range profile which allows you to play to the enemies' weaknesses and the maps' nature at almost all times and the 50 damage alpha is pretty dangerous in ERML range thanks to the short burn. The other build is 2 UAC10 5 ERSL. More of a brawler than the previous build, but 500+meters of range on the UACs means you're not helpless at midrange, either.
Quad ERPPC WHK-Prime, probably the only fire support Mech I've actually enjoyed so far. PPC sniping just feels satisfying once you get the hang of it.

2x HPPC, 5 ML Grasshopper: An IS jump sniper?!?! Does surprisingly high amounts of damage if you play it right. The ML's are there as a backup just in case you have an opportunity to burn something at close range, but shouldn't be used often, you need the heat for the HPPC's.
9x MPL Black Knight: This one is a lot of fun in close quarters cold maps, like HPG or Frozen City (depending how you play it there anyway). Only use it in FP, because it's obviously very limited in use.

If i do stray away from mediums, it's usually to play around with favorite lore builds in heavies, like the Timber Wolf A, Thunderbolt -10M, etc.
I still can't quite enjoy the slow and stomping assault game, and lights are too erratic for me, with too much responsibility.

Tweaked my Kit Fox into a 3 MPL, 4 MG, 3 AMS, ECM, JJ build - fun and rather effective, so far.
