I don't think we need a lot of duplicate heroes. Maybe a few lore ones for a lark, but certainly not every chassis.

I'm a lot more interested in the Annual Hostage Program being scaled up and more variants being released. We're missing several Clan Busters, at the very least.

We need Wobbies and commies...

I'll be fine with second heros for some older mechs, hell I'll take some unique theme of mechs like for Guardbreaker line of hero mechs 2-3 mechs share the same theme. It be cool of idea since it give us multiple heros and fun little au lore or random fluff.

And yes I took this idea from LoL.

I DECLARE THAT THERE SHALL BE A MCII HERO LRM BOAT NAMED NV11th!!

Absolutely NO ONE, will buy it, and THEREFORE PGI IS EXTREMELY LIKELY RELEASE IT!

GENIUS!

BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

because its easier for PGI to churn out new heroes than it is for them to churn out new mechs

and if the hero mech is good it allows them to make money off old chassis all over again

the problem is in order to keep up with power creep a lot of these second heroes have to be pay2win

like butterbee. not the most extreme example of pay2win weve seen but p2w nonetheless.

Quad Ballistic Stalker Hero pls.

Battlemaster with torso ballistics and arm energy would be pretty epic.

Puh-leazze.

For ever good looking hero pattern of late there are two or there so uninspired that the basic patterns are frankly as good if not better from a purely aesthetic view point. Look to the Florentine's blahness, the Highroller's multicolored mediocrity, the Breaker's hey lets apply a different texture to the clan wolf lyalty pattern and call it a hero. Lots of the heroes this past year have been lame.

Im surprised there isnt another Atlas hero out there considering the popularity of the most Iconic mech in the game. A new Atlas here would bring him on the field more. I rarely see the Atlas anymore

edit: from Sarna
  • AS7-D Atlas Danielle Piloted by Wolf's Dragoons Captain Danielle Rondema, this modified Atlas carried three medium lasers in each arm, trading away the SRM rack to do so. The additional heat was dissipated by two additional heat sinks that replaced the rear-firing medium lasers. BV (2.0) = 1,976[36]
  • AS7-K2 Atlas Jedra Used by Lord Jedra Kean of Vega this variant of the Atlas removed the standard weaponry. Each arm carried a Light Gauss Rifle. The right and left torsos each carried a pair of ER Medium Lasers and a single SRM 4. The center torso carried a single ER Medium Laser. The armor protection, heat sinks, and ground performance remained identical to a standard AS7-K2. BV (2.0) = 1,971[38]

the Jedra would be a fun ride.

Yeah, a new Atlas Hero would be awesome!
Maybe, a 1 balistic for each ST, to break the balistic RT/missile LT scheme....

Great, just need LAC/5's and the Longbow chassis in MWO now....

Did I mention all 6 LAC/5's are arm mounted, 3 per arm?

Also ECM in CT and C3 slave in head....

Death strike is a good hero mech?

It...dies so easily and is often a really disappointing opponent. Get kinda excited to face one and it just faceplants dead.
If that's what you Clanners call a good hero, I guess it's no wonder you can't even use your own mechs well after you get a tiny bit of heat.

Well I wouldn't buy them.

They'd either be sub standard performance, so the P2W crowd don't have a heart attack, or so O.P they'd be justified in that view.

Camo maybe, for a different look.

Colours no.

P.G.I have run out of colour options, some are exactly the same just with a different name

I'll take 12 ballistics.

6 LBX-2 and 6 Heavy MGs.
Yes... that is good. 3 per arm, 3 per ST.

Maybe it's something to do with the fact that it can pack a 94 pinpoint alpha with fairly high mounted hardpoints and an optimal range exceeding 400 meters and having twin Gauss as heatless backup for times when people try to push into it. Maybe...

It's called the Annihilator and Fafnir.

Faced something similar. It exploded. Mind you I wasn't its first target, it wasted that on someone else and promptly couldn't really fight back with enough force to matter.
