I found only few so far and even fewer that are of decent quality. The best by far is this project by animation students, although the YouTube-stream is of terrible quality:
I wanted to link more, but this forum does not allow me to do so.... ("More media files than you are allowed to")
And then I am working on my own fan film, details coming soon...

But it's been 6-years since that inception and I'm sure better results can be done now .. Even for a school.

I'm surprised no one has done a Red VS Blue like machinimation with Mechwarrior 4 or Living Legends game play. I wish I had the time to learn how myself.

Wow, that was fantastic, thanks for posting. I would love to see that in a longer version or made into a film.It certainly would blow away all the current junk that's playing at the theatres lol. Look forward to seeing your work also.

I am generally amazed at the lack of fan made animation. There are a few animation tests and so forth on YouTube, but Mechs are really easy enough to do to at least do some short battle animation. Apparently only very few people ever go that far.
That film is a good example of what I mean. Some nice stuff in there. But the choice of music is questionable to say the least...
For anyone who knows German it's kind of awkward to hear someone sing about masturbation while watching Mechs shoot at each other. Very weird.

lol Yeah, you really need to read up on lyrics Rammstein if you don't know German but most people pick their music just for the instrumental (then it becomes a 'wait, wut?' moment)
