Which MWO purchase did you regret the most ?

For me it was the Griffin Mastery bundle. $28 for a 2N, Sparky and i sold the champion mech. I still cant figure out what to do with the Sparky .. and the 2N is easily purchased with cbills.. doh.

Nearly every mech has been mediocre (Enforcer, some of the Zeus and Panthers) to bad (some of the Zeus and Panthers) and those that weren't (Hoppers) have been nerffed until they have joined the others. It's almost like PGI wanted to punish people for being so foolish to spend that much on virtual content. After that Kodiaks.

Thantos. Every variant except the one with the ballistic side torsos are a total waste of time. Glass cannon without the cannon.

Any assault mech. I just don't 'get' how to play them despite years' of advice of better assault pilots and watch them play after I've died. Every other class I can do ok but am best in my IS lights. When you see me in a 100tonner you know it is a bad build no matter how meta the load out.

While a number of my purchases such as the MAD IIC collector's + scorch got nerfed several times over, I need to remind myself of the value of play I got from my purchase until the staged nerfs landed, one at a time.

The one that really stands out though is the Warrant TBR hero. I got robbed of 20 USD on that, easy, as I made the purchase like 30 days before the skill tree dropped. I also bought the Huginn last fall during the Hero sale, and even on sale that was a total rip off.
