I guess Alex redesigned the circular side torsi in order for them to become less obvious (as ST). But appearance wise I prefer this one:

Another hero with a combination of missiles and Energy is a bit redondant... Are you afraid of ballistic hero mech ?

I dunno-I think it's more because it tends to be the most 'unique' idea for a hero, considering very few standard variants they release nowadays have missiles, and if they do, they aren't primary weapons. For example, of the five non-hero Blood Asps, only two have missiles; One has a CT missile, the other has arm missiles. The rest are all energy+ballistic spam.

I think this one looks great.

But i thought "Rancor" is a Star Wars trademark?

Dear PGI...

The Blood Asp is fine, seems to be OP but design is perfect and bla bla bla...

BUT : Hero is 2xM and 6xE ? Really ?

Just some example of two other assaults hero mech created by and wich are not old at all : Wolf Phoenix : 4xM and 4xE, Mean Baby 6xE and 4xE. Ho and other non assaults hero : Belial 4xE and 2xM; Cobra Cat 4xM and 4xE; Hangover 5xE and 5xM...

An other hero with a combination of missiles and Energy is a bit redondant... Are you afraid of ballistic hero mech ?

It's an omnimech, meaning that, except for the CT, you can replace the omnipods in your hero.

Yeah, it's nice. Yeah, I will buy the 3D printed mini because there will finally be a version with correct proportions. So, I am excited about this mech.

But what we Clan players would really like is a non-OMNI 60 tonner.

Thresher
Matador
Hellfire

Don't care which, just something that is 60 tons, and non omni.

Thanks

Rancor is a regular word, not just a SW creature.

Since the A variant is basically the only variant that everyone will use, I'm thinking about the level of GIGA-QUIRKS PGI have to give to all other non-A variants to make them even come close to being useful!!!

This looks awesome :) except for those guns at the top, the side torsos aren't really standing out. It's got big shield arms and the CT is pretty narrow. I think the hitboxes are gonna be perfect on this mech. This mech could really be OP as $#!7 :)

Might as well preorder it :)

Going to be a good mech, but I doubt it'll game-breaking. BAS-B CT and BAS-Prime arms, side torsos, and legs, and you have the Deathstrike with better Gauss mounts and ECM. That'll be a good mech, but it's got a broader chest (with 90-tonner twist-speeds), so it'll be easier than the Mad Cat II to CT. Peeking profile for the ballistic mounts is good, but most of the meta-Deathstrike's damage is the alpha from its lasers, which are on quite lower mounts. Not to mention a dual-Gauss Sun Spider will have a similar profile and will have faster acceleration/deceleration.

As I said, it'll be a good mech if only because it's so similar to the Deathstrike, which is a good mech. Might even be the king of Solo QP RangeWarrior Online. But not game-breaking since there are mechs that will do similar things, and will likely die more easily.

Actually kind of surprised PGI's releasing the Blood Asp, since it's so similar to a hero mech that was fairly recently released. I was hoping for the Stone Rhino, myself, since Clans lack good, tanky 100-tonners.

Or, the negative quirks they will give that one. Remember, they still think negative quirks are valid on the TBR.

Buyer beware. Just saying.

Just bringing it up so PGI knows we still want it: Pretty sure Fire Moth would be a good choice to release at some point.

Now that we have the Piranha, I'm staring to think it's really never going to happen. Not like the Cryengine-can't-handle it kind of never happen.

Blood Asp looks cool. I know a lot of people were looking forward to it.
