Ah no I came here to say exactly what I did. The match result is irrelevant to this thread.

Soon as you're arm was open, your Gauss literally popped. If you crit-pad properly with 3 x 1/2T that might sell have not happened at all. Given I crit pad gauss on all mechs, GYR/MCII/BASP/WHM etc etc and it works quite often because that's how the crit rolls work in MWO.

It really isn't a hard concept to understand. Or maybe it is.
