Name the Stinger hero Harmony and the Wasp hero Gold. Piloted by the Slayer twins.

Harmony has a Ying Yang paint scheme and Gold has a Black and Gold paintscheme ( its a Wasp ).

Weapon buffs:
50% extra damage for +50% cooldown on the ML.
60% extra range on the Stingers MGs at the cost of of 33% less ammo. ( experimental MG ammo ).

SRM2 buffs. Always a 100% missile health buff.
Sync cooldown to the ML.
Either increase damage to compensate or add 1.5 heat per missile that hits ( Inferno Missiles ).

Chassis buffs : 50% buff to the JJ skilltree.
Some durability buffs.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the Stinger and Wasp more like power armours than battle mechs? I'm only saying this 'cause of what they were called or outfitted as in Roguetech.

They're 20 ton mechs like the Locust or Flea, just humanoid form. Personally I think they could release them as a pair using the same arms and legs and just change the frontal torso area and head of each mech; it would save money and be supported by lore (the General Mechanics lawsuit against Earthwerks).

To actually sell the mechs I'd suggest armour quirks similar to the Wolfhound (8 to 10 points on each location) on all variants, and various offensive quirks on the different models for flavour.

Of all the more viable lights still not available, the Stinger and Wasp would be my last picks. Sometimes I just don't get it. Why put that forward?

They are 20t jump capable Mechs, which is a novelty (especially for the IS which does not even have a 25t Mech with JJ), and some of their variants are more than capable.
Sure, there are better Mechs out there but we could do worse. Far worse.
