After playing for several years there seems to be a pervasive flaw with game play that has gone unresolved. The current system for earning c-bills/XP/LP/Match Score is broken.
The game overall rewards vomiting damage out, blowing off components, and kill stealing.
What needs to be added:
(Q1)-High reward for kill efficiency. Eliminating a mech by downing and or shooting an already damaged component that directly leads to the death needs to be rewarded. Not just rewarded on kill completion for the killing blow recipient, but to all who shot that component, scaling with % damage done. There also needs to be an inverse scaling effect for number of components destroyed on the dead mech prior to death. If the component that caused death is the only component destroyed, it should yield the highest reward. The reward at the top level should be more than what you'd get by stripping each component.
This should be called something like fire precision or fire accuracy.
(Q2)-Additional reward for information warfare. Narc, tag and UAV bonuses need to be higher. Narc especially needs to be rewarded since having to take a decent set up is akin to the weight of a LRM launcher (at least for IS). This would add an element to the game that is needed. Additionally, if a UAV identifies the entire enemy team for the first time with the scout bonus, it doesn't make the money back. 36k reward vs 40k spend. That in my opinion is tragic because what's described is almost the perfect UAV placement.
Light mechs would gain a new roll besides being a back stabber.
(Q3)-Sharing is caring bonus, for pilots who don't hug dying targets, or step in front of teammates' lines of fire to usurp the killing blow.
(Q4)-Actual rewards for objectives. DAMAGE TO ACTIVE TURRETS AND GENS/OMEGA NEEDS TO BE COUNTED in the end screen total damage and also needs to be properly reflected in the match score. Gen and Omega damage need to generate scaling rewards based on damage done and killing blow, 100k c-bills per gen distributed over 100% damage delt, 250k for omega (10k and 25k killing blow reward respectively). Damage to bases on incursion does as well. Walls on incursion shouldn't count. Capturing and defending resource points on conquest needs to be worth about a solo kill's worth of reward. Battery deposits on incursion need to be about the same, a solo kill's worth. However, winning assault through objective should not be rewarded though its defense should be.
(Q5)-Better salvage rewards for CW. Just more money, scaling with number of mechs left.
(Q6)-Vanguard bonus for leading the pack and soaking damage. More damage soaked the higher the reward. Should equate to solo kill or KMDD reward level. Using 70% of mech's HP before death could be called "The Hard Goodbye" bonus for an additional 30k.
In summary,
These changes would help to align the interests of mech pilots in a match with one another. MechWarrior Online is a team game but rarely plays like one, which is highly disappointing. Adding these incentives would add many new alternative strategies to existing map and modes with minimal effort.

I agree wholeheartedly, thanks for the well thought out proposal. Hope PGI listens to this and my new game mode "Vanquish".

I agree with all of this as it would help increase player income which is direly needed for the average player. Beyond this, it helps reward more than just killing, since the nerfing of damage, and as playing as someone who tries to do clean kills instead of "lol I got 2k damage in a pug match" getting match score and cbills at a decent amount is not as reliable. So the current system actively de-incentivizes playing the objective and instead incentivizes 'bad gameplay' of dirty kills (destroy as many components as you can and damage pad as much as you can) and ignoring objectives. Throw in matches with objectives typically are too long so you can easily win by killing then capping, no reward for actively getting the timer down in Domination (for the whole team plus bonus for being the poor sod in the cap circle). Basically the game currently rewards poking and blowing off arms then legs then wander off to cap, and always vote skirmish.

I think the objective is the most important thing, Kills/KMDD/Component Destructions should stem from trying to achieve the objective.

P.G.I should add all these
Also on another theme log in bonuses, similar to Armored Warfares

Yes to all.
Another thing PGI should do is reduce the matchscore for players that only uses 1 mech the whole game. Or perhaps that "vangard bonus" could increase your score as a reward for using all your mechs.

PGI should grant up to 4 favourite mechs the benefits of a Hero Mech or Omnimech.

This is the only part I disagree with. All aspects of the objective need to be rewarded, not just the ones that promote turning Assault into Skirmish.

Not every game should be Skirmish. Winning by accomplishing the objective should be important and should be rewarded according. If this doesn't change then all mission will continue to be played as Skirmish.
