That document that was leaked in another thread had me convinced we would be seeing IS omnis. But then, the Blood Asp has been on a lot of people's wishlist for a very long time, so I'm not incredibly surprised.

You mean the thread on the document that almost certainly didn't apply to this months release?

You know, even if that did apply to the Blood Asp, it's not particularly inspiring that the hint given was so useless no one got it. Certainly nothing to be smug about.

If you pay attention someone did get it right (Blood Asp), but because of the then following video (3060, 182) and not the doc.

I think that about the only time PGI pays any heed to the forums is to decide what mech to release next. It's the real Battletech Grognards with loose wallets that get all hyperventilating over specific chassis and they fill PGIs coffers every chance they get.

All PGI has to do (minimally) is space out the releases of the most wanted chassis to ensure that they have an income stream these days and there are enough "must havers" out there to take care of the rest.
