So saved up all my MC, to get 1 Arctic Wolf but with the Lunar Event I can get at most 3.

I just like some opinnions on which variants are good..

I know for sure I am getting the ACW-1 but I like the opinions on the other 5. Like is the Hero worth it?

I don't spend on Mech I can eventually get with so I buy Hero and collect faster with the 30% boost... sometimes another variant can do better in returning than the Hero with the bonus but hey, what I like about Hero are the unique camo and I like to spend time customizing all of them.

Don't buy it for MC. Take a look at the calendar and then consider that the Arctic Wolf will be out for Cbills on March 6th. Coincidentally, the same day the Sun Spider is out and the day we get our free Dec 27th log-in heroes.

Keep playing what you got and just build up some more Cbills to get what you want then. As for the hero being worth it, well, the hero is a Battlemech, and not an Omnimech. So while you can adjust the engine, endo, and ferro, you can't adjust the hardpoints.

I use omni with streaks. Its got everything you may want from a streak escort mech ACW-A

Couldnt make atm poptrat work due to insufficient tonnage to fit ATM12s. And in the world of assassins it is way too fragile for SRM boat.

I know this mech is coming out next month for C-Bills but Techniclaly my C-BIll Grind is going to be put into the Weapons, I spent most of it on my collection for my Mad Cat MKII, so I am not willing to get a Variant for C-Bills at the moment adn especially with my sun spider and roughneck needing the tweaks.

I atleast going to get the Battlemech, and hero, then I still have enough for what ever comes out.

I thought you kept the ECM, but the BAP's anti-ECM is disabled. Still get the range and targeting boost I think.

If you really want an Arctic Wolf for MC, get the hero. The AW is very fragile, but maneuverable and hard hitting, so if you enjoyed the SPL Purifier before the nerf, this mech plays very similar.
Note I said maneuverable, not fast. The omnis are not fast, but you can get decent maneuverability out of them, especially on the Set of 8 ACW-P omnis, which can be used to build some extremely painful laser vomit builds for the tonnage.
Also, all the omnis are quirked for CT Durability. Not a lot of quirks, but it is noticeable.

BAP is for targeting. You dont mean your own BAP cancels out your own ECM, dont you? That would actually be so hilarious if true.

No I think Process is right, it is the ECM that disables BAP function, not the other way around.

Yes, but 9 SSRM-6s with two tons of ammo, an XL 170 (Plus needed DHS), 1 point of armor on all locations except for the Ct which gets thirty, is perfectly legal.

And stupid. But I wanted to try it as a joke build once it comes out for Ceebs, because that is one-shot light deleting right there. Makes for a ruined Locust or Piranha's day, at least.

The Jumpjetted Prime? Or the Battlemech? Because two different models exist-the 9M Battlemech and the 4M+Jumpy Omnimech.

Each have bonuses-Jumpy or joke builds. Seriously, the ACW-1 has some hilarious possibilities. 9X SRM-2, 9X NARC, 9X SRM-6, 9X SSRM-6,etc.
