With preorders coming out monthly....I've decided that Id like to try one of these out. Does anyone have experience with these? I normally dont even bat an eye at them...but with how much MC I buy the mech packs are actually really good deals. Suggestions?

Do you have any specific questions regarding them? It's a fairly simple concept - You pay cash for mechs. How much you pay determines which mechs you get from a pack. If you pre-order them, you get some bonus stuff.
If you're asking which ones to get, well... that depends a lot on what you like to play.

If you want pre-order bonuses. Nice if you don't have colors to paint your mechs. Then just get whatever is the current pre-order.
Otherwise Bushwackers are generally considered good. Plus they all come with double heatsinks. And you can sell the extra XL engines for more c-bills.
I don't run Clan mechs. But Marauder IIC and Madcat MKII seem well regarded by other posters.
Edit: Also the larger old packs still come with goodies like colors and faction camos. But you may end paying more.

Another thing to keep in mind, aside from the special edition units, usually marked by a (P)/(I)/(G)/(S), heh, you will be able to get everything later for MC/C-bills.
Now with that out of the way, if you are buying something that is not coming out for months down the road, or only available for real cash / MC, the mech packs may be your best bang for your buck. Keep in mind how ever that most units in those packs will be nerfed into the ground when they come out for C-bills.
The best for mechs cash ratio are the basic packs if you as me... that being said, in some case the best units are only found in the add-on packages, such as the Mad Cat II Death Strike.
