I have a very few friends IRL that play MWO, let alone have heard of the franchise beyond the computer. I have actually played either Battledroids, Battletech, Mechwarrior Dark Age, Mechwarrior 2,3,4, MegaMek or even the Mechwarrior RPG since 1985 and at 45 years old, I still paint and collect the miniatures. One of the ways I have found to get people interested in the board game was to paint and gift them a custom miniature of their first mech. I still have my first Commando mini and have lost count of the number I have given away over the years.
What I would like to be able to do is gift one of my 61 existing mechs, nearly all of which are custom variants that I have modified, custom graphics, decals and cockpit items. I have a couple friends that play that like things I have done with my mechs but can't afford to purchase the same variant, so being able to give them one would be really useful and probably encourage me to spend even more money on new mechs of my own.
Let's face it, I have 170 days of premium time and plenty of hero or champion mechs to grind c-bills with, so even just a way to gift them c-bills or MC without needing to reach for my wallet every time would be useful!
What do you think? Anyone else in a similar situation?

It would be a cool feature to gift a mech to a friend. You should be able to box up a mech and give it to friend. But I guess till that time comes you would have to buy him/her the mech as a gift from the store page.

Great Suggestion! Might I also suggest that it would be useful to add gifting items from your inventory to others as well?
