Link to their steam
I'm sure this will get shuffled off before a bunch of views, but I thought it might be something the devs want to take note of because despite the fact its not a BT ip, there certainly are other companies that are attempting to make mech-centric games.
This one probably won't be everyone's cup of tea, but they are at least from the videos and info they've given going hard in a direction that this game has sorely lacked since launching - having something to do that's not just the same matches over and over.
Seems to be a sci-fi take on games like Ark or Rust, with the open world and crafting/building systems with some angles on standard fare MMOrpgs (questing/bossing) while it seems they intend to keep it PvP focused.
Anyhow could be interesting, and its nice to see that other companies are starting to fill the void in the mech genre with something more than arena shooters.
*Just had someone randomly message me about this game an hour or so prior to posting this, its pre-alpha but they are currently starting the email for random key selections.

Good to see more mech games are being made. Personally Rust styled games are not my cup of tea.

Yeah I'm either/or on that aspect of it as well, but given a lot of the discussion that takes place outside of balance here I reckon that quite a lot of players would enjoy all the extra layers a game like that has to offer even if it doesn't carry the franchise tag.
Might be pretty interesting with the creating mechs, especially if they open it up to mods like these other similar games have been doing, wouldn't be far out of reach to have a straight up BT/MW mod-server.

Looks like a Fallout 4 style layout since the FO4 mods became commonplace.
If you can build mechs..........isn't Ark like this without technology? Never played it but the team I am on does......
Will have to check it out.

So, you would have to collect resources to craft all kind of stuff to build objects to craft more advanced stuff to gather advanced resources to craft more stuff to build an object which allows you to craft mechs and then just as you consider which mech to build some other players come by in their mechs and raze your base to the ground? Or trolls steal your resources and build a giant [redacted] while you're logged out?
I can imagine less frustrating ways to get some mech action.

Gameplay content, even before you get into any of the PvP aspects - and if they angle to take away the better parts of the games that its modeling its framework around there will be options for PvE only servers - so if they don't totally muck it up it's actually likely that their game will be a direct competitor to the MW5/single player crowd as well.

It's becoming obvious that MWO is becoming soooo dated..
More and more games like this will pop up... and MWO needs to keep up.
Just a short glance reveals thing MWO still doesn't have after years on the scene:
1) PVP and PVE content
2) In-depth crafting
3) Quad mechs and mech with 6 legs
4) Other types of vehicles other than mechs
5) Other things to do with mechs other than skirmish
6) On-foot, out-of-cockpit play
7) Newer, nicer looking graphics
8) A point to the fighting other than fighting
Need I say more? MWO is dated, and it's no wonder people are moving on..
PGI.. step it up?
