Back on topic:Tonight I'm in the mood to mix things up and I need c-bills... And this dusty old centurion has never been mastered. I ask you why buy 2 more centurions when the first never worked. That was the old... In with the new... Lets master it and see what happens

It starts with the typical stuff roll up to saddle and check it out... single blip.. they must be coming through tunnel or around it... second blip at saddle then a 3rd... teammate near top throws up a UAV Oh-no.. no time to count.... shoot.. shoot.. shoot.... crap I'm in the open and LRMs are inbound... dive to the hole.. re-position to cover walkway down.. shoot.. shoot.. shoot.. shoot.. they've made it down to the bottom and I'm a target again.... poof goes my CT armor... can I survive long enough to dive behind that building... Oh Yea made it alive... peek back around... Piranha .... hmmm, he's dived behind that post... I'm pretty sure this is a stomping and not in our favor.... focusing hard on where fish-face is... Gauss to the leg starts him limping.. now for the other ... I'm dead

Should be over soon.. I wander away from the screen...

By the time I get back this heavy is blasting turrets at distance and time is running out... I type in anything but a turret will give us the win... spectating from the heavy next thing I see is this one-legged urby walk in and taps a command center

I just got it in a K2, in an Escort game on Rubellite Oasis. Spam PPCs at all the things.

I got mine in a Arctic Cheetah on plexus. literally ran the top dodging fire spraying MG and ersl's and after living through the match was like "wtf is that achievement?" lol.

12 assists is pretty easy though. Just take a light mech with MGs, and kiss everyone with some bullets.

Anyways, congrats on the achievement.

Wasn't exactly hard for me, considering I have a spider who is designed to spray anything red it sees >.>

I did have 2 er Med as backup... I've hit all 12 before... but usually kill one during the course of a game

I really never expected Philanthropist in anything but an assault

Honestly I find the best way to get kill assists is to be an assist mech. If I take out an AC20 Hunchback or a Zeus and go for assists I struggle the entire match.If I go with my 2x AC2 Blackjack to pepper the foe from behind a bigger ally or use my dual AMS Vindicator and stick to the murderball I get a lot of kill assists very easily. Take this low effort match from last night as an example.

I'm struggling to think of such a sort of build for a Centurion-A to be honest. Maybe something like this:

Lots of AMS ammo with RAC5 and MRM10 for direct fire support. Not a good fighter on its own but can dish decent damage on a target that is already engaged. Throwing a steady supply of RAC5 rounds at an enemy that is already engaged is often enough to cause them to lose their cool and make mistakes.
