That obviously follows some wisdom in this thread...

So 19 damage on a 70 ton fat heavy that for some reason has stealth armor. Even if you pulled a Houdini and got behind that straggling assault, you're going to cry a river of tears when he's that one guy that puts on too much back armor.

Fun fact, 19 damage isn't enough to rip through the internals of a 30 ton mech in one alpha strike. I know i'm one that says "run whatever you want, don't let anyone tell you otherwise", but i'm not referring to these types of builds. These are examples of "Go back and try again".

I will bet they took the ballistic off when they were messing with the build to get stealth to fit or something and forgot to put it back on, i mean, i hope.

The new meta for solaris. High enough cooling efficiency to stealth and fire and all that back armor for the inevitable retreat.

Clearly i'm missing it because all i see is either an accident, a failure or a troll.

Also i hope to god it doesn't get brought in Solaris, otherwise i'm completely ditching the 2v2 queues. Not on my team, do not want.

I've seen worse, just don't have any screenshots of a cataphract because I see them so seldom and they usually die before me even at my most suicidal.


Everyone ripped me a new one for posting the 50KPH HBK with 6 ML in Scouting and asking if troll builds should be reported as helping the enemy. So I expect a few dozen people to come on here and defend this guys right to do whatever he likes.

I dont think it is an accident, because I encountered this mech first as an enemy next game I am with him in a team.

I assume he's trying out something like this

- Not efficient, but probably interesting enough to try when you get bored of everything else. Its not like the game really offers up that much depth, may as well screw around with wacky builds and probably find some exploits in PGIs buff coding.

That thread has been making my head hurt so, so badly.

I have resisted saying anything because well... There is just so much wrong I don't even know where to start.

It's well above two of the "usual suspects" level of bad, even if one of them is of course in there doing the usual misleading.

I can't tell if the post was bait or if the effort was sincere and just misguided.

I also can't tell if the people who 'liked' the post were doing it ironically and I suspect at least one of them wasn't.

Are those anti-mg? Cause I'm pretty sure that the arms when stripped, could still be destroyed and the equipment along with it.
