The reason PUBG and Fortnite are popular isn't just because they're FFA, it's because you have to move around the map, scavenge things and so on. They're popular because every game is different and an adventure in itself.
Solaris FFA will only have part of that appeal, IMO. I also think it'll be extremely newbie-unfriendly, for a variety of reasons, so it'll probably end up as one of the least played modes overall.
It's good to have a new game mode, but I'd rather have that in QP/FP than in yet another niche aspect of the game only 20% or so of players will actually play regularly.

Good point.

Every player in PUBG starts off completely equal is my understanding, since I have never played.

MechWarrior has always had FFA as part of the title though. Always been popular to. How or if it gets added is a good question.

MechWarrior Online is a way better game is why I never got PUBG.

ECM is toggled with J. AMS doesn't have a specific key, you have to toggle it on/off using the weapon group interface.

In general, support the game if you enjoy the current gameplay (which has always been the same and always will be) and don't support it if you don't.

thought you could toggle ams with the ~ key.

my wallet is closed because i dont see no point in further expenditures. the game certainly isnt evolving very fast, it may very well be on its death bed. i have way too many mechs, almost in the 200 club. pgi just isnt interested in moving this thing forward. solaris i figure is just more interface work and that actual game play will just be what is already possible in custom games. the meat of the game remains the same.
