I think this would be one of the easiest ways to get far more longevity out of a map. We all hate the circle position on grim plexus dom. But what if that was only a 1/6 occurrence, and there were six or even ten circle locations around the map, each with unique spawns? What if there were four to eight different spawn points on each map that forced teams to REALLY scout? it'd give the light mechs a huge amount of versatility back in terms of scouting, the mediums could skirmish and engage while the heavies and assaults moved in, and you couldn't predict where people were coming and it might even prevent some of the worst engagements that kind of ruin maps (the citadel on river, the plateau in forest, etc.) and people would be forced to improvise cover and utilize their strengths more on the fly.
We already have this (somewhat) with VIP, which for all its failings as a game mode, does genuinely result in some of the most amazing improvised combat.
