I'm not really new to the Mechwarrior franchise just new to the multiplayer aspect of the game. I've been playing since MW 2 and I own pretty much all the table top products as well. I'm just looking for a group of mercenaries that I can roll with once the game goes live.

Not really a super hardcore gamer so a group with out attendance requirements and a lot of patience in dealing with some one who might not know all the nuances of multiplayer gaming is a plus.

Thanks for your consideration

Also I prefer to pilot lights and mediums if that matters.

Dmitri

P.S. links to corp websites would be awesome. Thanks

If you are interested in playing with a structured group, doing training (yes a bit is required) and in general are a well to do guy try

BWC

http://mwomercs.com/...-veteran-owned/

it's a really large company & filled with a wide variety of people.

Plus it pretty much lets you do what you want. If you want to be super hardcore there is definitively room for that, but if you would rather just be someone who wants a bunch of friends to play with it also fits that

Hope to see you here!

I am in the same boat as you. Not really new to MMO, online Free-2-play, or to Mechwarrior. I will probably introduce this to my kids also, and would like to play with them online at the same time.

We have a dude, OptimusPrime, who introduced his infantry platoon of a family to BWC. That was years ago, and most of them are veteran core members of our team. I have watched one of them in particular grow from a young child to an Army soldier. There are other people within BWC who have introduced their family to online gaming through our unit. These are reasons why I personally call BWC a group of family instead of a group of gamers.

If you're willing to put up with us, the IMC Browncoats (Or whatever we're called) are always looking for new recruits. Not too hard on 'em, and we're plenty friendly. Our thread's here: http://mwomercs.com/...d-independents/, and our website is here: http://mwomercsbrowncoats.webs.com/. This is a themed Merc Corp. (Firefly/Serenity fans), but apart from a bit of RP and some weird language, we're not too different from anyone else. Drop by if you're interested!

If you are looking for patient instruction, BWC is the way to go. I'm still a recruit, and by no means a novice gamer, but they have all been very patient with my detail oriented, curious personality. I've learned lots and am anxiously awaiting destroying the competition with them. I personally believe, if you like winning, you'll like it here. BWC = Win/Win

BBK puts gamers first. We realize that life comes first before games. We have a strong military structure minus the powerhungry "my way or the highway" leader.

Join us on teamspeak and learn more about us. You might just find a home!

I see a few of my BWC brothers have already chimed in. Check us out. I've been in for a few weeks now and I like them. There are training requirements to go through but nothing you can't handle. It's pretty easy and common sense stuff to apply. I'm not super hardcore but I do plan on playing the hell out of this game and I'm glad I joined this group to do it. You can be as active as you want to be.

If only. Then we could play out the Liberation of Terra c2778 and the Battle of Tukayyid in our spare time.

There is a very good reason for that! If you ask nicely maybe Firefly will consider a trial of absorption or whatever :) That was a joke by the way...I wish your outfit every success and lots of fun playing in the game! Except, of course, if we meet up during Community Warfare when it launches. B)

You're all welcome to join us. But imma keep on keepin' on.

Fifty million is a rather large number, although this entertaining poster seems to think it's a gross exaggeration when we indicate how big BWC as a whole truly is (key words italicized). Which will make it all the more entertaining when we hit retail launch.

Best of luck with your recruitment, BBK.

Muwahahahaha, reading what other people think about BWC as well as MW:O's game play only makes me that much more anxious for the release so we can get out there and show'em what's hiding behind the curtain.
