This map really could use some upgrades to improve game play. It is basically just a "nascar central" map. The team with the fastest 'Mechs usually wins. This really sucks for those that like to play larger 'Mechs and brawl.

Some things to change to reduce nascaring and improve overall game play:

1: The map has several of small pillars scattered around the map. As they are, they really don't add much benefit because they are too small. If you are standing behind one, it blocks you from shooting most of your arm and lower torso weapons but leaves your upper torso exposed so that the enemy can hit you with everything he has. To improve this, make the pillars taller than an assault 'Mech and wide enough to hide a 'Mech behind. Do this for all of the pillars on the map.

2: The next to the upper level promotes nascaring and an exercise of "surprise nascar attack". To help reduce the "surprise nascar attack", at the corners of the upper level on the second level, place 5 to 7 very large pillars starting at the corner of the upper level platform and angling out to the corners of the next level. Space them just far enough apart to allow a medium or light 'Mech to go between them. Make them as tall as it is from the second level to the upper level base platform. This would help slow the nascaring and restrict a sudden burst of 'Mechs from suddenly appearing next to the ramp. Some may go over the upper level but most usually do not because they have no cover and can't do that "surprise nascar attack" that so many seem to enjoy doing. This would help even out the game play a bit.

3: The height of the upper level under the roof platform is too low. Tall assault 'Mechs drag their heads on the roof and it slows them down and restricts their movement. How about just raising it up 2 or 3 meters. We don't need it that close to the tops of our 'Mechs. It servers no purpose and hinders game play and mobility.

4: Increase the width of the roof platform just enough for a 'Mech to walk around. Then add narrow ramps at each of the corners starting close to the wide ramps from the second level. This would add to game play intensity and give each team the ability to put pressure on the other team because of an elevated viewpoint and shooting platform. It would also allow the teams to detect nascaring and help prevent it. This map REALLY needs this.

5: Several places on the map have a slightly elevated platform with a ramp. These platforms are really not high enough to be of much use from a fighting perspective. Increasing the height of these ramps by 3x and width by 2x and then add a couple of pillars like mentioned in item 1 would help improve their use in game.

6: There only seems to be one "daylight" mode to this map that seems to never change. Could we get some alternate "daylight" modes to play by? Or, maybe just a nighttime mode and have some giant spot lights on top of the outer wall and center tower shining down on various places on the map for visibility?

These things would add some new life into the game play on this map and help reduce some of the more annoying things (nascaring).

Thanks.
