Hello dear PGI - after several patches and ofc after we had the machine gun mechs like - cheetah jenner2c atc - they have like - 6-8 machine guns, and now we have the piranha with 12 machine guns - in that case the spider 5k is undergunned as hell- and have no place on the battle field . spider 5k became completely useless.
I suggest to buff the Spider 5K machine guns fire rate, and add some to energy cool down quirk, or agility quirks, or else useful weapon quirk
to put that little underpowered mech to the field to be not even close to these mechs - but a little bit better than it was.

the spider 5k is not useless, each mech that uses machine guns has to sacrifice something. The more machine guns on a light the less tonnage for armor/ammo etc. The piranha is 20 tons and has 12 machine guns, its going to run dry on ammo real fast. The cheetah and jenner do better with laser/missile loadouts instead of balistics. The spider will still perform well as it did before so no worries buddy

man do u play the spider a lot? - it was fine before these mechs came in. now the same weight mechs has the biggest advantage in the machine gun fire. along with the 8 machinegun slots they have the several energy slots - that makes them more poverfull - spider had energy slot - its just a sounds bad in the reality of the game. u cant fight these mechs 1v1.....

when you play light mechs, you have to understand the light pilot hierarchy, whether you're a locust, piranha, jenner or wolfhound.
Rule 1: Never fight another light (unless it's an easy win)
Summary of arguments:
Streak > SPL > MPL > MG >SNUB PPC / AC10> SL > ML > ERSL > ERML > LL > LPPC/ HPPC
Rule 3: If you can't run to escape, jump to escape
Rule 4: Play dirty, play opportunistic
Rule 5: Standing still on any light is a death sentence
Rule 6: Don't become too greedy, your primary goal is to be a nuisance to enemy assaults and distract them, not necessarily to stand still behind them - be an easy target for their team to shoot you down. Go for at most two alpha's before you disappear again.
1v1 arguments are therefore obsolete, you shouldn't be 1v1'ing lights in the first place.
That said, the 5k isn't in the best shape I agree, but saying they are redundant goes too far IMO, as they can still fulfill the same roles they always used to fill

Ignore him...he's been whining about spiders for months now. Its not anyone else's fault he won't buy a different mech.

yeas the spiders is isn't in the best shape - so only want to put them in th place - just make them little bit better no OP.

@Dee Eight dude - listen my post is about that spider 5k is undergunned - and not so great as other lights - and I don't want to make it OP want to make spider 5k little bit better compared to what we have now - and what it was before nerf .
