Any streak mech can kill those easily. Hell, anyone who can actually aim can kill those easily. How did you even come to that conclusion?

He might over estimate them in the "only weapon on the mech" department but in 1v1 with my friend it worked well to have 2-3 as a secondary weapon once you stripped some armor off and go for components.
This was espacialy benefitial fighting heavy and assault mechs.

As for streak mechs. How many streaks can you mount on a light mech?
Ah that brings back the question on how the 7 leagues will be made up. I kinda hope that we won't see a to high mix of different weight classes but then all we know its kinda "meta" balanced...whatever that exactly means.

Hopefully we will see some more information this month.

And I think that isn't to far fetched. SRM and MRM work quite well.
