I've been trying to change my keyboard configs and keybinds but it just doesn't work. It seems all I can do is delete one keybind but actually changing one bind to another... just doesn't seem to work. Click the space and it highlights but that's about it. Nothing else happens.
What's going on guys?

when its highlighted, you 'double click' it ... and it should say 'bind key' .... if it doesnt save, thats obviously a different problem that probably related to file permissions / user account ...

its not impossible that some of the anti virus software can block the process by incorrectly interpreting whats happening .... as an alternate fix, you could manually edit the file ....
you'll find it located in "C:\Users\*YOUR USER NAME*\Saved Games\MechWarrior Online\Profiles\*YOUR PROFILE NAME*" in the file called "actionmaps.xml" ... if you dont have an XML editor installed, right mouse click it, go to 'open with' and select 'wordpad' that will at least put the line breaks where they go so your head doesnt want to explode ... and be aware, that if the game doesnt like something, it will restore the 'default' copy of the file .... so after your done editing it, make a backup copy right there by just copy/pasting into the same directory ...

Thanks that's really useful. I will look at that.
For immediate I've run the game as administrator and some furious clicking and pressing seems to have worked but it's less than ideal. Perhaps my Naga's too fast for the game or something?

It does not matter the mouse being used. I have tested by altering mouse click speed and that does not change anything in the keyboard settings. It is a very fast click for the game to recognize the clicks in the settings.
