What would you think about a skillsystem that is based around playstyle instead of fixed numbers?

Instead of haveing skillnodes you have a progress that is unlocked by doing certain things.
For example you tend to use the AC10 a lot then you progress in getting bonuses with that weapon.

Another example is: "You know how to twist your torso?" Fine you become better at it, getting a bonus on twistspeed.

The idea behind this is for one, bringing in a bit more of a roleplay aspect to the game.
The second is to get people to play better. Me and a friend of mine had the tendancy of just selecting armor nodes and facetank. Bad idea, I know that now but it was easier to select some nodes then learning to twist (and I am still terrible at it ^_^)
So when people play and learn for the first time to twist and then see in their skill overview "Hey I just got some progress in twisting" they might have an incentive to do it more often...becomeing better players that way.
