This is "nearly" the stupidist thing PGI could possibly do. I Say "nearly" because Im sure they'll try a "hold my beer" moment after reading this.

Mwo will likely die after mw5 is released. However two things could make for good replacements. Multiplayer added to mw5 or converting mwo to. Unreal engine/ making an mwo2. I actually feel this will be thier big development announcment for mech con thos year.
Also the FP commuity may be small relative to the number of people who play qp only. But i guarantee they play more on averge and log in more regularly.
Solarus will undoubtedly be a fun little distraction. But thats something i would do just to warm up or kill time while i wait for my team to finish thier match in fp. Dropping with my friends and building my unit has kept me here longer than any gameplay feature, cut that for a couple weeks and id likely just log in to play 1 or 2 solarus matches and then go do something else most day.
However instead i think ill boycott it until fp is back up.
