[Spare Parts Bin]

Catapults are good IS heavies. The K2 has 2 ballistic hardpoints. I use a UAC-10, either a HPPC or an ERPPC with 3 MLs. Good build so far. I like it enough that I built my Battle Master with one more ML.

The Warhammer Black Widow can boat ballistics, plus has one missle and 4 energy hardpoints.

It's a little less tanky than I like and also Clan, not IS. But I will keep paying attention to this thread. Maybe some other Mechs pop up that sound like my thing. Eventually, my Warhammer will be fully kitted out, then I need to look for new Mechs anyway.

I always enjoy the Orion IIC A variant and build it like the Atlas S with an LB20 and 4 ASRM6 and 2 ML. Great face smacker and can give even 100t assault mechs a run for their money if you use cover to cool off in between alpha's.
