Second time I know off that events with KMDD and Kill requirements only tracks KMDDs.

Anyway, just thought I'd give people a heads up. Also, this is the camo, for funsies.

That's unfortunate. Luckily KMDDs are easy to get for me. Now we just need to notify PGI.

If it's just going to be KMDD's can we have that reflected in the event description? I seem to remember Matt saying there was some kind of bug that caused the last event like this to only handle KMDD.

Looks like i'll need Four mechs to complete this event Jenner, Griffin, Orion IIC and Highlander IIC that is a fair bit of cbils.

TRIAL by fire is the event title. Take a look at the trial mechs.

It seems to only count one or the other. If you get a kill, it counts. If you get a KMDD, it counts. If you get a kill and a KMDD (and the Solo Kill), only one counts. If you get a kill and a KMDD (not the same target, so no Solo Kill), you only get one as well. Its the last one that I think is not working as intended.

It seems to track only a kill each match, whether you get only the one or way more. The event becames burdensome if so....

Can Confirm, Have to do KMDD for this event just about.

Time to load up mechs and do a lot of damage and let teammates mop up I guess :/

That's funny, because the Trial by Fire event page I saw says it's starts on March 6th. Being that today is March 5th.....

Yeah. March 6th in UTC time. UTC is 5 Hours Ahead of EST I believe.

Yeah I'm only doing it to do it, I'm not at all interested in that camo. My guess is it is the least purchased camo so they thought it would be a good idea to give it away for free on a bunch of mechs that hardly anyone even pilots.

I have gotten more than 1 kill credit in a match, but only when I didn't get a KMDD, I think. The last battle I got a KMDD (solo kill) I only got 1 credit even though I had 3 kills.
