I know they arnt on sale yet, but I'm scouting ahead to give myself advanced knowledge. I'm going to pick up my first panter. I was looking for a Panther to jump snipe with ERPPC. Been looking at quirks and hard point locations and I can't decide witch one to get. Help would be appreciated from Panther experts.

The 10K has good PPC quirks, the -20% heat really helps.
That's the I one I personally use for dual ERPPC. As long as you don't spend the whole game sniping with it you should be fine.

If you want maximum heat reduction from the ERPPCs - 10K (-20% heat, 20% velocity)

If you want slightly less heat reduction, but better velocity - 9R or KK. (-15% heat, 40% velocity)

I think the 10K is the clear winner for running PPCs, simply because your heat will be the limiting factor for your damage output. If you end up not liking PPCs on there, you can still do work with 2M 2E like 2 SRM4 + lasers or a snub nose.

Alternately, the 9R's 1M 4E is the least hardpoint-starved, so you could fall back on a somewhat risky laser build.

Looks like 10K might be the winner even tho more ppc velocity might be beneficial for me since I play with high ping. Cheers.

10P will probably be bumped up a tier, besides the Spider 5V will dominate the crap tier with a SnPPC and a cooldown as fast as an unquirked medium pulse.

Kitana kat is amazing the rest not so much, i have srm6 2xerml and a snub ppc with +40% velocity.. its really good and does over 100kph

Don't listen to the guys who said it's crap. Because it's not. It is one of the most durable light in the game. Period.

I love them, you can literraly brawl in them ! The two best choices are the 10K and the Katana Kat (or 9R if you don't have money). Baradul has made some nice vids about some Panthers brawling, it is a good inspiration to watch some gameplay videos sometimes.

The 10K excel at ERPPC and dual PPC build. I use mine with an ERPPC and 2xSRM4, it rocks. The Katana, i use something brutal for a light : 1xSNPPC, 1xSRM6, 3xML. It rocks and pack some punch in a brawl. You will love them !
