If you're thinking of buying some 'Mechs while they are on sale and can't afford all of them - take 10-15 minutes off your 'grinding' time and go through your inventory! (Home->Inventory) There are plenty of unused items (C.A.S.E, BAPs, single heat sinks etc.) that you can sell to get quite a large sum of c-bills real quick and ready for the sales.
Also since the new tech, a lot of equipment like STD engines and regular medium lasers have become obsolete - there's really no point to keep any STD engine below 280 and above 325, IMHO.
For example: I've got like 6 STD 300 engines from all the 65-75 ton 'Mechs that now use LFEs that will probably be useless on anything but niche builds - that's 5.5m c-Bills with the blink of an eye!

Having that in mind, don't sell all your stuff, since every sell eats 50% of the price. Like if you have 6 STD engines you don't use - sell only 4 or 5 of them, and thank me later when you realize that STD is a must for this particular build.

Sell the game ! Oh, sorry, got carried away..... Keep the game, sell the "stuff"..... It has no value in inventory anyway because Solaris is 1x1/2x2 and you really only need about 10 mechs anyway...

They have announced the plan. Face value refund of 25MC per key and 50K cbills. Will occur Solaris patch (I think) go look at the road map to verify.
