Nothing! As long as you are not a "VIP" player, your complains and suggestions mean nothing to PGI. You are just one of thousands of idiots who pay money for a 6 year old game to get "new" stuff. You don´t have any right to make MWO better for every player, to make MWO better and interesting for new players, resulting in a bigger community and more money for PGI, making MWO even better.

A community is no individual. Think about this.

You don´t get it ...
What is the difference between the suggestion of many people, to change the position of the cricle on Grim Plexus Domination, to the suggestion of one man to change the position of the cricle on Grim Plexus Domination?

A livelihood if done correctly or an anchor if not....

I am amazed that PGI, as an owner of a super small niche market, isn't 100% involved on these forums and in the actual game...
There are many other games where the developers and staff actually play and take comments and suggestions real-time in-game.

Other niche markets design contests and events for customer suggestions and reward those customers whose suggestions are accepted.

PGI is an enigma to me....

I doubt that this is a surprise.

I can't think that the Community means all that much to PGI other than a revenue source. What do you expect from them when their President shows up to a Twitch event and gets progressively more hammered?

I would worry if it's not the money. :P
Anyways I take a drunk PGI president in his free tme on twitch any day then the people at a company called Gamersfirst who couldn't be arsed to talk to their community AT ALL.

It's money.

Only time they listen to the unwashed masses, is when that, steady income is in danger.

Which means complete player revolt on the forums, Twitter, and a high level of cancelled products, and the principle one being cancelled products, as so few people use the forums and twitter.

I don't understand why this should be a surprise to people.

Very, very, few people, outside the 'chosen ones' will ever have a real voice, and often the chosen ones are the biggest sycophants, and abusers of the system.

This has been the case since Everquest days, when the only ones that S.O.E listened to were their raid, comp teams, of which the most infamous was blanket life banned for exploiting a raid they helped design.

I was really surprised when i heard that only the leader of the team, that is responsible for nerfing and buffing, is playing MWO.
And yes, no response in the forum, Twitter or Facebook for normal MWO players. The only way to get a response is to contact the support by email. And even here you don´t get an answer from someone who knows MWO. The support acknowledged that there is no moderation of the comments on the Facebook page, which has hardly 30 or 40 comments per day. You can insult PGI on Facebook without consequences, i tried and it´s fun.

Not for nuthin', but I seem to recall the early days, pre Beta, when a PGI head-cheese came on the forums and engaged with the community for a few hours in a live thread. It quickly became apparent that the MW: O player base was split in five different segments when it came to expectations. Some wanted a hard conversion of Battletech rules and stats into the game. Others wanted a FPS with one click kills. Others wanted a logistical based game that would force players to wait weeks for Mech tweaks or modifications, because 'reality'. The whole thing turned into a sh!t show of name calling and veiled promises of content. Literally, people were calling the PGI guy names by the end of it, and all he wanted to do was 'engage' with the community and provide feedback on development. I am sure he had a smile on his face at the beginning and a scowl at the end.

I don't blame PGI for avoiding that experience again. I wish it were different, but there ya go.

So they listened once and then gave up? Way to go PGI...

That is such typical behaviour for for these special snowflake game designers. Ooh noes the community is really passionate and really angry, lets never bother talking to them again. Grrrr.

Welcome to the club.

Most of the paying customers here have vastly differing views on so many things here anyway that there's no way for PGI to really listen to them, as most of the time there's no coherent suggestion unless its one of those examples of one guy with a stream rallying together a sort of lobbying group.

Also, OP, use a better image hosting site, all we can see are some thumbnails there and clicking them brings up some other site rather than just zooming in on the picture. Imgur is a good option.

I understand that problem. I´m not talking about the fundamentals of the game where everybody has a different opinion, i´m talking about obvious problems like the circle on Crimson Domination can be reached 20-30 seconds earlier by one of the teams. There is no different opinions about that and no reason for PGI to ignore that problem, while they could fix it easily.

you sound like you need a safe space away from MWO's mean devs. Are you triggered that they won't talk to you?
