Is it just me or has the event now made people often attack the incursion base?

Normally no one ever attacks the base, now I see small groups going for it game after another. Doesn't even make sense since the event has nothing to do with bases, winning or anything like it.

Its just you. Plenty of people have been doing it long before this event.

I am pretty good in one v one or taking on a couple of isolated attackers. So sometimes I leverage this by baiting some opposition mechs into defending their base when I'm really just trying to shape a fight into one that grants me more advantage.

If you play it right baiting a defense is good for kills.

At least it's a better assault, and I'll take that over escort anytime.

Also OP players been doing that since the mode inception, just use it as free points because if you catch them attacking your base you and your turrets will rip the poor guy apart.

just because incursion is better than assault and escort doesnt make it good though.

theyre all bad gamemodes. skirmish and all its variants are bad gamemodes too.

Disagree Escort 12 people die its over, Incursion 12 people die and we sit watching an empty base for 5 -10mins as the one legged destroyed mechs try to hit the base..

I ******* hate incursion, Escort is way better.
