i said how they should be during the civil war pts. pgi's fix was a deadzone of doom. cant change their minds for nothing.

Rockets should definitely not be used in Solaris.. also the same with Flamer+SRM or Flamer+small lasers nonsense.. it defeats the purpose of showing skill and zellbringen glory..

by only 2vs2 or 1vs1 no great movement or Tactics wehn shes standing Face to face ...thats like two Bears thats found ..the better Heatmanagment/Alpha /Aim is important...Fafnir and twin Ac20

rockets.. do a lot less than you think they would

in your mind its like a pocket AC20 shot.

in reality its more like a pocket LRM10 shot.

the damage gets spread all over the place and now you have not done enough damage to make up for the fact that you dint carry SRM's in those valuable rocket slots.

in a 1v1 SRM's > rockets.

even if you boat them, especially if you boat them.

I've done testing in my king crab. I can almost instantly delete another 100 ton assault. Even one with armor quirks. I've done it to another king crab. Put 3 RL20 in chain fire and 2 AC20's in chain fire. 3 medium lasers all on one group. Triple click rocket button, single click laser button, and while those are firing double click AC20 button, massive damage with no ghost heat. Hardly any spread if you do it from barely outside the minimum range. I dropped off a ledge and landed near him and he was dead before he even got to shoot at me. I do 80/20 between front and back armor. That puts me at 89 front ST armor with full armor skills. 130 front CT armor with full armor skills. 120 damage from the rockets. If you're close you can make it hit just two torsos. 120/2=60+40=100+15=115 damage. That's 88% of my CT armor gone in a bit over 1 second. When I nailed that other king crab he tried to twist. I shot again with the AC20's as he was turning back toward me and he died. I was right. Rockets are going to be ludicrously broken in Solaris. They should be banned just like other consumables. Nobody should be running around with 175 alpha in a 1 vs 1. Even if you don't bring enough to instakill someone they're still going to give you an insurmountable health advantage. And what about 2 vs 2? Two people doing that will kill any mech in the game in the time it takes to click 3 times, and then it's a 2 vs 1.
