Post your builds! I'm running LB-20 + 6 MPLAS w/ a 58 kph std engine. There are no brakes on this train.

Why LB-20X and MPL? I'd think the MPLs would pair better with an AC/20, or if it can afford the tonnage, a. HGR.

Eh, you can fit HGauss, 6 ERMLs and 2 LLs in that thing. Put that heat gen quirk to use.

3S has 3 high energy mounts in the RT, just an idea if you want to shove that CT LL a bit.

AC/20, 2 SnPPC, 6 MLs... I ran this successfully before the buff. Can't hop on till tomorrow to try it, but yah... this thing is a brawling machine. Its also similar to the build I'm going to toss onto the Siren when Solaris drops.

Standard -3M laz vomit builds, now on the -3S! I don't personally like the HGR when you only get one. IMO the tradeoffs aren't worth it unless you can stack 2 and go for broke. The crap DPS and the way it crits out your ST as soon as the armor's gone sort of works against the general tankiness of something like the -3S, IMO.

The HGauss + MPL is not crap DPS...that's actually insane DPS...a bigger version of what you can do on the RGH-2A which has only 3x MPL.

IMHO, though, the ranged build with the standard Gauss is the superior option.

It's the MPL that give you the DPS, not the HGR, which is what I was referring to. 18 tons for 5 DPS is a terrrrible trade. It's only worth it when you can take 2 and get that 50 PP damage.

Even the lowly RAC 2 has >5 DPS, for 8 tons.

But it's the HGauss that's giving it the sustained DPS, which is the truly insane part for that alpha size and how front-loaded it is.

Speaking of...

One I prepared earlier. Just swap out LL to ERL if you wanna ERL/Gauss something @ 700m for full damage rather than reduced with LL.

Would work reasonably. Problem is how slow the 3S is due to engine cap.
