Finally give us some love with the small lasers then kill our only REAL means to reach the kind of survivability in game as IS Mechs, this is obscene.
While there are a few lack luster min/max meta CoD-Jockies who can't control their heat and need to rely on the kinds of builds you're trying to address, at the end of the day you're punishing the whole of Clan players for the *****-builds of a handful at best (don't forget buffing as many IS Mechs as you can get away with in the process [18 variants this patch, btw]).
Add onto this the new bit where you no longer penalize players for changing factions and it become pretty clear that, once again, you are actively trying to drive Clan loyalist to convert to IS and Merc while you ready up to kill MWO in favor of your next golden cash cows, MW5 and Solaris; neither of which provide what the bulk of the core Battletech/MechWarrior community started playing this game hoping to find.
Once again you are betraying and insulting the very people you constantly claim to represent, the BT/MW fan base that's been here since Table Top and Cartridge days. Kudos.
