Ghost Team Damage

Just had a match where the final screen said I scored an alpha strike's worth of damage. I was a light on an incursion, I grabbed a battery 1st then joined up with the team. I dropped off a ledge and cause some leg damage but not nearly enough to account for the final team damage score. Throughout the match I never ran into a friendly nor fired on a friendly. I admittedly did not pay attention to the server. On the new Oceanic server I run 400-600ms latency was I just seeing what existed .4 - .6 seconds in the past?

A friendly could have walked into your strike.

There have been similar reports lately.
I myself experienced a few abnormally high team damage scores in matches where I stayed away from teammates and only shot enemies (and I never use strikes).

I suspect that somehow, the damage from strikes tends to get registered as caused by another mech sometimes.
Unfortunably, unless someone posts a video of such a match, PGI won't be able to act and fix this.
