Thank you, this shows exactly how broken the current system is. It should have been an overwhelming victory for the IS Forces but because of the poor system mechanics in place, the event was given to the clans.

There is no argument left for anyone, the numbers are what the numbers are. The current mechanic needs to be removed and replaced with something that will allow the winning side to actually win.

Do more dmg, get higher matchscore. Nothing new here.
Gen rushes, more wins but lower dmg and score.
Amount of fat on IS side shows on stats.

Wonder how many of those MX90's and WHR-6D's were the trial ones, also funny to see even after 3 rounds of nerfs warhammers still being the best IS mech, well, "what people think is the is best mech"

Sooo... IS are won most of matches > IS too powerful and need to be nerfed, right? Oh wait, Clans have 2slot Double Heat Sinks and they are obviously OP! PGI PLZ NERF!

Not that many, None, as the Trial 'mechs are all (C) and these results treat that as a separate 'mech (which is why the HBK-IIC appears 3 times and the NVA-Prime appears twice).

Storming the gates to kill power gens gets old fast,like wise defending them. lots of fun playing the quick play maps with a drop deck.

All I can do, after waiting 3 weeks for these stats is sit back and chuckle.

Looks like planet ownership have been "changed" as well? I wonder why that is?


The ToW system has been broken since it was implemented. Maybe, just maybe, it will get the attention it's needed since FP3.0 was dumped upon us.

Seems closer than the previous FP events we've had. Still its kinda funny seeing how IS lost when they got more victories overall , heh Posted Image .

The real issue, after Matt admitted he frak up on the initial event setup on the win condition (which could have changed how units worked those last few hours), allegedly will be the plans to make the ToW for future Capitol events be decided by ONE win from initial start of the event.

Tharkad event did have IS/Steiner winning by a few battles. Instead they lost by 23 battles (see above). If Tharkad had been setup identically to Luthien (1% per drop instead of default 3%), IS would still have lost but then only by 4 5 battles, while needing those battles for a stalemate.

These events should not even come close to guaranteeing an actual winner, a stalemate should be more likely. And with a stalemate PGI should allow a follow up event after the next Capitol event, unless it is the only Capitol left that can be attacked.

Luthien - some stats - stalemate (tie) 1% drops - had pulled it back with 23 wins out of a possible 100 on one end of the ToW at the end of the event. Again, even though Tharkad had 3% drops, IS only pulled back 6 wins (out of 30). If it had been the Luthien setup, it would have been 6 out of 100 and IS would still have lost instead of a stalemate, instead of being slapped in the face.

As a reminder, this percentage is BOTH Siege and Scouting.

Siege should count for 4x the value.

I love how IS was Dominant on the Capture bar for more then 3/4ths of the event yet they still lost the planet. I really suggest you guys rethink how the capture for capital worlds goes. seeing as Inner sphere had the bar firmly on there side for the bulk of the event they should have held the world IMHO.

I propose everyday at midnight (or just right after peak hours) the faction that has more points on the bar (IE it's on there side to capture) wins the point for the day. if the event is 7 days long then the capture limit is 5 to hold. Also do not allow big units to flip allegiances mid event. Most units (MS. 228 ect) started IS and flipped clan to the end of the event. tipping the balance. Just a suggestion but really the way it's been going so far isn't fair considering what happened doing event.
