Our unit switched over now that there is no longer a penalty for breaking loyalty from merc to loyalist. Our unit stayed at top of the leaderboards, but all our players statistics were removed and wiped clean.

Is there a way PGI can change this?

Deal with it mate. Stats wipe when switching faction is "feature".

Same, went from merc to loyal smoke jag. Stats wiped. Must be a "feature" of the latest patch.

I recently also changed from Wolf Loyalist to Merc, and my stats got wiped.. and I don't give a tiny rat's rear torso for that..

If I played for stats, I would not play this game..

I play for fun. That's the only thing that's important.

still, it's a "feature" like many others that they should just fix.

switched my loyalty yesterday and was going merc first by error (that intuitive UI - is not ) and interestingly the contract-bonus for every faction showed 0%. switched to steiner thereafter again, but I guess those 0%.. buggy.
friends who renewed their merc-contract yesterday got the same (%-payout still happens, but UI shows 0%).

I wonder how they manage to screw things like that up.. it's not exactly new code for a new game-feature, right..?

Im clearly not playing for stats after 55k drops minimum and playing for 5 years. Lets find a different way to communicate besides assumptions. Internet lost troll era of translation.
